Videos are embedded, not hosted

Duskline does not host, upload, re-upload or mirror any video. Every video on this site is embedded from its original creator using YouTube's official player, which is what that player is designed for. Playback happens on YouTube's infrastructure, views count toward the original creator, and all rights and credit remain entirely with them.

We organise and link to other people's work. We do not claim it as our own, and we have no control over a video's availability: if a creator removes or restricts a video, it stops working here too.

Our news is AI-assisted

We are explicit about this rather than hiding it. News articles on Duskline are original commentary written with AI assistance, based on publicly reported information, with the sources we used linked at the foot of each article.

They are written as our own summary and commentary, not as rewrites of anyone else's article. Each one carries a visible note saying it is AI-assisted. We do not attempt to disguise AI-assisted writing as something else.

Removing a video from Duskline removes our embed of it. It has no effect on the video itself on YouTube, which remains entirely under the creator's control.
